Listening to: Probot - Centuries Of Sin (with Cronos of Venom)
Okayyy,this is going to be the first entry I'll be writing since last year. I've been really busy,or so I like to think. So anyway,here I am..back after a long hiatus filled with sex,drugs and rock n'roll..=D. Anyway! As you can see,I'm really not into fancy-blogs with fancy-skins anymore so I've decided to make this blog as simple as possible as I like to believe I'm a simple man although I'm a sucker for kroners and clothes. Ehmm..
I've been totally digging Maynard James Keenan's philosophies and I seriously love them, especially since it is about the whole religion issue. Here's an excerpt from one of his interviews: "The religious upbringing that most people go through, and it's assiocation with Western religion, is all based on lies. At some point you either wake up and realize they are lies or you continue in a fog. I realized I has been lied to and wanted to know the truth. There is a big difference between religion and spirituality. If you are walking a spiritual path, it is because you are trying to help yourself or others for the greater good. You are trying to become a more conscious being through your actions and by understanding what motivates you. Religion, on the other hand, is basically a marketing plan. There is a middleman involved, and somewhere along the line someone is going to ask for your credit card number. They are going to pass a plate in front of you, trick you into giving 10 percent of your income to some child-molesting fuckhead, or, worse, trick you into giving up your civil rights over some storybook. But there is truth in every religion, and I totally respect all religions, it's just the people. You just have to weed out the middleman principle, the profit portion, and get to the crux of it." Although I disagree about some stuff he had mentioned-heck..he still makes alot of sense. Hope that doesn't mindfuck anyone out there reading this though.
So anyway, onto my own personal life. School today was boring as usual, had to run my 2.4km, and I failed by whaat? 2 or 1 seconds? I seriously hate my teacher.."Oh sorry Daryl,I can't pass you because this is a christian school and I have to be honest!"...Dude like wtf? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard coming from a teacher in my entire life. Even my no-brainer chinese teacher from china makes sense. Ah well,the people these days huh..especially the old ones. Tsktsk..Unbelievable bunch of shitheads.
Went to the park after school to chill out with Kathy,Ignatius and Rory. Had quite alot of fun there..played with snails,birds,it's quite nice sometimes, hanging out with nature and stuff, rather than being with religion-fanatics all the damn time thanks to what our Government have done to us. Grrr... Okay,like total wtf to me. Been listening to alot of Dave Grohl shit lately, I love all his bands..be it,Probot,Foo Fighters,Nirvana..Whatever. He kicks ass man. He is the SHITEZ BAYBEEEE..But I must say my personal fave band of his is definitely Probot. Check them out,guys! They are pretty rare though, underground old school trash metal! what more could you fuckin' ask for huh? \m/
Came home around 5 something, got a drink on the way back and saw a Slipknot poster pasted on the frontdoor of 7eleven. I could only smirk as I raised my can of Ice lemon tea imagining it was a can of Baron's Strong Brew instead, and then I shouted out loud, "Ohh Slipknot, here I come guys! here I come!" and walked off as the people around me looked at me as if I was some madfuck. Slipknot's comin to singafuckingpore man!!! Wooohoooo!!! What are you doing on the night of 16th August guys? WELL IM GOING FOR THE FUCKING GIG...$100TICKET!!! WHOO HTE MAN..WHOO THE MAN..WHOOOOOO HTE MAAAN!!! Oh and by the way, Happy Birthday Taralyn!
