this day would be a great one to be remembered

leaving us to burn into a pulp of hope and guilt for the very act we had just caused.

Im back...Sorry for not updating in the longest time. Life's been so boring there's really nothing much to share with you motherfuckers out there. HEH!! BUT OF COURSE, I HAVE TO SHARE WITH YOU HTE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE.

you got it right. The Slipknot concert at fort canning park. Gawd it was fucking amazing I really don't know where to start now. Rory and I made our way there at around 4pm and we were immediately surrounded by angmoh chicks at the entrance. Algernon and Farrell then came,followed by Jeremy,Ian,Hasanal,Khai,Vin,Damian and so on. Then at 6pm,the gate opened and we all rushed in impatiently. We waited for one hour till the band finally came onstage after "Prelude 3.0" was aired throughout the whole outdoor arena. They kicked off their set with "The Blister Exists" and fuck,the moshpit was so intense I had to get out. So I went to the back and bumped into Chan from Inokii. So both of us stood at the back and headbanged all the way. Slipknot was fucking great, they played shitloads of songs..left behind,wait and bleed,people=shit,surfacing,before i forget and a shitload more..especially spit it out where corey ordered us to get down on the fucking ground and when he gave the command to jump the fuck up,we would jump like madfucks. And so we did,it was so awesome..everything went well. The greatest night of my life, and so many chicks were there. It was soooo raddd mannnn..But wait, here's the highlight. On the way back home, I happened to be next to one of Slipknot's van and Shawn Crahan and JOEY FUCKIN JORDISON were inside. I waved like a really mad man and Joey smiled at me..WOOOOOO..IM NOW SO BLOODY INSPIRED TO BE A FREAKIN GREAT DRUMMER. And yes people,believe it or not..he was unmasked. \m/ kudos to those who went.

Trivium - Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr
(Note: It's 12am now so 'today' in this entry is referred to Saturday.)

I'm a happy man! Bought Trivium's Ascendancy album today instead of Norma Jean since I already have their two albums on my comp. I SWEAR, TRIVIUM IS A KICKASS BAND. Blah, right now you'd probably go like "Ah heck,Daryl says that about every band he comes across" but whoa seriously, if you're looking for real kickass Metalcore with alot of Melody..Trivium is the right band! Their album is splendid!

Here's a quick review, Starting from the very soft melodious introduction filled with pianos and stuff(the end of everything), The next song comes in unexpectedly,the whole album then goes uphill as Trivium gives you heavy melodic metalcore right in your face with powermetal like guitar riffs in between..and guitar solos by both Heafy and Beaulieu. The thunderous boomy bass sound of Paolo Gregoletto,and of course not to forget, Travis Smith's superhuman double-pedalling extremely technical drumming. Songs you MUST check out on the album are 'Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr','Ascendancy','A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation','Like Light To The Flies','Departure' and 'Declaration'.

Indeed, one of the best albums I currently own. I'd give it a 8.5/10. The reason why I didnt give it a 10 is because I found the guitar riffs kind of monotonous on afew tracks, and Heafy's vocals on some tracks really irritated my ears as it didnt sound any different from what it had sounded earlier. BUT OVERALL, A GREAT JOB. For all metalheads, you have to get this album..

Onto my own life, Nothing much happened today, a normal day, spent the night at David's with Hakim who is now BOTAK/BALD/SHAVEN/SKINHEAD. Hakim,you seriously look like Reek now. Oh, It's also Siva's birthday so HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY MY KELENG BROTHER. UR OFFICIALLY LEGAL TO DO EVERYTHING AND WELL ANYTHING. Muaha..

Just watched MTV Icon with The Cure. Beautiful! I must say it kicks the Metallica MTV Icon one's ass anyday anytime. Deftones' performance was like whoa man..Ah what can I say,Deftones never fail to disappoint me. And for the Deftones fans out there reading this, if you're also into nostalgic disillusional yet awesome kickass post-rock psychological music, please do check out TEAM SLEEP,Chino Moreno's side project.. although their fucking album costs $45 damn bucks. Bloody IMPORT label sticker nonsense.

Anyway,another boring day as usual..Spent it downloading shitloads of videos including Trivium's Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr! Boy is the drummer sexy! I want to look like him! the goatee and all..okay,I'm not gay btw but yeah,his sexy. If only I had the thick and curly hair, and the rough goatee on my chin complete with the baybface image..boyy would I look sexy, Muaha! gggmfaodfa!

I seriously hate Good Charlotte..Really can't stand them. What's with this whole anti-war political touchy emotional we-want-peace thing! It's getting wayy out of hand and overrated. I mean first,we get the message alright...WE DONT WANT WAR,WE WANT PEACE..NOW WTF STOP SHOWING US VIDEO CLIPS OF POOR PEOPLE ACROSS THE NATION SUFFERING BECAUSE WE GET THE DAMN PICTURE ALRIGHT...for god's sake,I know the message is for a good cause but everyones overdoing it. In my opinion,John Lennon is the only one who is good at this..and that's because his an official political activist. Good Charlotte are just some hypocritical bunch of numbnuts, and Billy Martin looks like some really ugly female hispanic pornstar who looks very very depressed. HAHA! Omg, All the damn girls out there are so gonna kill me. OHMYGOD ITS BILLY MARTIN AH SO HOT..ROFL. Blah,their music sucks balls anyway.

Hakim came to my place on tuesday, had quite alot of fun.. We wrote a song and recorded it using an acoustic guitar and fruityloops. Sounded very dark and deranged, pmsg me for it! Had dinner with my family at David's yesterday. Besstt place to slack at, Sister's been through alot of shit lately, working life is so fucking hard. Scares me to see her this way,cos I just wonder about my future and think and stuff. My sister's boss for some goddamn forsaken reason loves picking on her, fucking hell. At first,My dad and I thought my sister's boss was just trying to teach her the hardway but as my sister began opening up more and more about situation, It really seems as though her boss is really picking on her and only her. Fucking hell, so anyway..yesterday's evening was spent on giving my sister advice..advice from David,my parents and of course,the great brother that I am,Me! Muaha. Oh well,hope she doesn't feel so stressed now, be the strrong domineering guy-beating sister that I know! bwaha! Maximum exposure there. Muaha.

5 days to NDP. Okay, BIG DEAL!! I know national day is a really important day as it marks the date Singapore acclaimed independance and blah so on and blah its really important and shit as its held annually and blahh blah blah ok so it's a good thing to celebrate right? But YOU DONT HAVE TO BLOCK UP 3/4 ROADS OF TOWN WITH POLICEMEN WALKING AROUND AND STUFF. Irritating, whats the purpose for all these? you can block up hte roads on NDP or 5 days before NDP but blocking up the whole area 15 days before the actual event,its like wtf? we all know the ndp is coming,you can have your previews and shit first..but for god's sake,this is overkill. And the fact that half the shopping centres in the city hall area are closed down due to the stupid previews that never actually takes place. Wtf man?! onto a brighter note, I'd definitely say the NDP is quite fun to watch..live..at the padang itself and not on television,lol. Hope they come up with something more creative this year though..Lol..maybe a death-metal band performing live in front of thousands would be just cool and will move the whole audience..literally.
